Labor Day Fishing 2005
There's something about it. Five good friends pitching in money to charter a boat to go striped bass fishing off the coast of Montauk, NY. A picturesque scene of 30 foot cliffs, a striking lighthouse, and the open ocean. We cruised out of Montauk harbour and beyond the tip of eastern Long Island. After aquiring enough perfect sized porgies, we were off to test our abilities. The search for that huge striped bass. On this trip it would not happen, but we did not get skunked. On the first drift, four poles in the water, three fish on! All over twenty pounds. We wound up with six that day, and later on that night, we wound up with full bellies. A great trip. Here's a picture of my friend JR, the cash we spent, and four of the stripers we caught.
